Reporting to the Marketing Director, Wiko is recruiting a Public Relations and Communication specialist to nurture a strong industry necommunitwork, increase awareness and develop an enviable corporate image by developing and executing effective communication and media relations programs.
The PR and Communication Specialist is the first ambassador of our brand, first point of contact for journalists, PR agencies and is acting as WIKO spokesperson, communicating the DNA of our brand.
• Coordinating all public relations activities
• Developing a marketing communications plan including strategy and goals,
• Developing a media relations strategy, seeking high-level placements in print, broadcast and online media
• 60% PR
• 40% communication
To supervise PR agency activities (for both corporate and products ) for the Southern Europe and review press releases, by proactive developing Wiko brand strategy, including different press story angles and journalists/influencers direct involvement in Wiko activities (on all these supports TV/Press/Radio)
To develop media relations strategy and customize it for each countries
Managing and coordinating events, public exhibitions such as Mobile World Congress and IFA, tours and product placements
To evaluate opportunities for partnerships, sponsorships and advertising on an on-going basis
To guarantee consistency of communication on all materials defined with the marketing plan and respecting global guidelines for launching of new products
To oversee ADV visuals development, delivery and timings accordingly to the Communication plan
Product samples management for product tests and events
To develop marketing materials, as internal and external presentations and general brand identity tools; overseeing of brand properties external usage (images, logos, tech sheets… )
To collaborate with the Social Media Manager on the contents management of the corporate website, in terms of updating and adherence to Marketing plan
To manage influencers campaigns
To provide an exhaustive reporting on a monthly bases to the Marketing Director.
BA/MA degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications or a related discipline Proven working experience in public relations required
Proven track record designing and executing successful public relations campaigns at both a local and national level
Strong relationships with both local and national business and industry media outlets
Experience in acting as a company spokesperson; comfortable and skilled in both broadcast and print media interviews
Exceptional writing and editing skills
Solid experience with social media including blogs, Facebook, Twitter, etc.
Event planning experience.
